Master P Honors Young Bleed With A.I. Tribute After His Passing

Master P paid tribute to his former No Limit collaborator Young Bleed with a touching A.I.-generated image that reimagined the rapper’s 1998 debut album, My Balls & My Word. The visual showed Bleed walking up golden stairs into the clouds, symbolizing his journey to peace. “We lost another Soldier Gone too Soon @therealyoungbleed Rest in Paradise. Our Prayers go out to his Family,” Master P wrote while reflecting on the impact of the Baton Rouge native’s life and music.

Young Bleed, born Glenn Clifton Jr., passed away on November 1st, 2025, at the age of 51 after suffering a sudden brain aneurysm. Just days earlier, he had performed his signature hit “How Ya Do Dat” during the No Limit vs. Cash Money Verzuz showcase at ComplexCon in Las Vegas. The performance marked one of his final public appearances, and fans later praised how full of energy he seemed on stage.

Following his passing, his eldest son, Ty’Gee Ramon Clifton, confirmed the news with a heartfelt message on Instagram. “Rip to the biggest legend I kno…. Young bleed!!! Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u… but imma carry the torch from here I got u,” he wrote. “I’m glad he went out in style!!!! One time fa the one time.”

Young Bleed rose to fame in the late 1990s when his debut album, My Balls & My Word, peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The project, featuring his breakout hit “How Ya Do Dat,” cemented his place in Southern rap history. Even after his mainstream run slowed, he continued recording and collaborating, leaving behind a legacy deeply respected across the Gulf Coast hip-hop scene.
