Kodak Black has once again stirred up conversation after a recent performance in Texas, where he surprised the crowd by appearing on stage in just his underwear. The moment, caught on video and shared widely on social media, drew a flood of reactions from fans. Some brushed it off as typical Kodak behavior meant to grab attention, while others expressed genuine worry about the rapper’s state of mind. One comment read, “It’s a strategy to make people talk about him, don’t take it too serious,” while another fan wrote, “He really need some help and a better team around him, cus why they let him go out there like that?!”
Concerns about Kodak’s well-being have been ongoing for years, as fans continue to speculate about his erratic behavior. The Florida rapper has often rejected rumors of drug use, even after his unpredictable appearance on Kai Cenat’s Twitch stream last November. “I’m just Yak, bro,” he said during that time, according to Vibe. “Ain’t sh*t changed, that’s how I came in this bih. I wake up like this. If anything, give me drugs. Give me drugs, and I’ll chill. When I’m not high, when I ain’t higher than a bih, I’m vibing. When I’m high, I’m in my coma bruh, I ain’t talking to nobody ‘cuz I’m getting high.”
The speculation reignited in May when Kodak dropped an On the Radar freestyle referring to himself as a “young n**a with a meth habit.” A few months later, a clip circulated online showing him allegedly drinking lean while driving. His attorney, Bradford Cohen, later explained to TMZ that the video was meant as a prank. Despite ongoing criticism, Kodak recently took to Instagram Live to defend himself, saying, “I eat good… high or not… I don’t be on no f***ing meth… Mind your own business, for real for real.”
