O.J. Simpson is going to be a free man.
It was the parole hearing seen around the nation. After almost 9 years in prison, the former football star has been granted parole.
The vote was made unanimously by a four member parole board in Carson City, Nevada. The 70-year-old could be released as soon as October 1. He was originally sentenced to 33-years for kidnapping and armed robbery in 2008 after confronting someone of sports memorabilia he believed was his.
Reaction of the verdict has been mixed as the debate of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman continue over 20 years later due to different documentaries and television series.
