Yung Miami has been catching a lot of heat lately, and Saucy Santana is not staying quiet about it. In a candid conversation with Carlos King, the “Material Girl” rapper spoke openly about the disrespect his close friend has faced, both publicly and behind the scenes, particularly regarding her relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Santana made it clear that he feels Caresha, known professionally as Yung Miami, is long overdue for an apology. He discussed the criticism she’s received, noting how deeply it affects him. “It’s like this little, weird Caresha hate-train. Even when it came to, you know, her dating Diddy, and now [it’s] in everybody face, now that this stuff is going through…court,” he said. He added, “Jane Doe said, ‘I was jealous…of her. She wasn’t like us, she didn’t get treated like us.’ We told y’all that in the ‘Caresha, Please’ interview… that wasn’t her experience. But…it wanted to go over everybody head.”
Santana also highlighted what he sees as a double standard in how people react when women celebrate their partners. “Who ain’t braggadocious about they man? It’s [what] every girl is doin’. So, why? Cause y’all couldn’t bag a billionaire?”
Earlier, Yung Miami addressed the chatter herself during an August 2024 conversation with Santana. She clarified that she was not acting as Diddy’s “cheerleader” but was simply celebrating him during his “Love era,” when he was widely praised. “I can’t speak on something that wasn’t my experience. And, I can’t speak on something I don’t know. I can’t speak on these allegations because I wasn’t around at the time. I don’t know that person and that wasn’t my experience,” she said, emphasizing that much of the criticism does not reflect her reality.
Santana’s remarks underline his loyalty and his determination to defend Yung Miami, making it clear that he will not let the negativity go unnoticed.
