Ye, formerly Kanye West, is under investigation by the LAPD after a man claims the mogul punched him in the face on Tuesday evening (April 16) – according to TMZ. The police report claims that Ye struck the man because he allegedly grabbed or pushed Ye’s wife, Bianca Censori.
According to the report, Ye and his wife left the scene, and the man didn’t require medical treatment. Police plan to speak with the mogul, his wife, and witnesses on the alleged assault.
Ye and his team have not responded to press inquiries.
On Tuesday, the couple spent the day at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, where they attracted a lot of attention from fans and paparazzi. They were joined by recording artist Yung Lean.
Ye has a prior history of battery claims. In 2023, he was investigated for throwing a photographer’s phone into an intersection.
In 2022, Ye was sued by a man who claimed the mogul assaulted him in Downtown Los Angeles. The results of the 2022 lawsuit are unknown.
