Another day, another tour announcement!
This time, Wizkid hinted to his Instagram followers of a potential joint tour with Davido.
In a Jan. 18th Instagram Story post, Wizkid shared a photo of himself captioned, “After my MLLE Tour!! Davido nd I going on tour! Save your coins!”
On Nov 18th., Wizkid headlined NYC’s infamous Madison Square Garden, making him the second Nigerian artist to ever headline the venue with Burna Boy being the first. Wizkid performed hits from all five albums in front of a jam-packed arena.
His North American tour, “More Love, Less Ego” officially kicks off on March 3. and will visit 19 cities within the U.S and Canada.
For Davido a joint tour would be a full circle moment as a long time fan and protege of Wizkid. In 2011, Davido tweeted about Wizkid being featured on a future album.
After the news gained momentum on Twitter, fans rejoiced.
