Wendy Williams Son Kevin Hunter Jr. Says Her Dementia Diagnosis Is Alcohol Induced

Wendy Williams son, Kevin Hunter Jr., shares an update after Williams was diagnosed with dementia

In the two- part docu-series “Where Is Wendy?” Kevin Jr. explains, ““[Doctors] basically said that because she was drinking so much, it was starting to affect her headspace and her brain. So, I think they said it was alcohol-induced dementia.”

“I was able to really learn more about things going on with my mother internally,” the 23-year-old shared.

We previously reported that a press release from the former TV personality’s team confirmed that “after undergoing a battery of medical tests,” Williams was diagnosed with both conditions in 2023.

“Over the past few years, questions have been raised at times about Wendy’s ability to process information and many have speculated about Wendy’s condition, particularly when she began to lose words, act erratically at times, and have difficulty understanding financial transactions,” the release stated.
