Wale responds after Meek Mill called him out for “linking” with his “enemy.”

In a since-deleted tweet, Meek writes via X, “Wale never liked me … now ima treat him like the streeets everytime I see him … I gave him 1000 chances these guys be thinking they linking with the enemy clown ass nigga I wish I woulda knew the other day I woulda stretched you!”

In response, Wale took a more composed stance, suggesting that getting involved in others’ drama in the industry often leads to reconciliation in the long run.

He emphasized the importance of focusing on his own path and avoiding unnecessary conflicts, hinting that the uproar over a mere photograph raises questions about priorities. Wale’s measured response highlights the wisdom in staying out of unnecessary conflicts and prioritizing personal growth in the face of industry drama.

“When u get in other people unserious drama in this industry 90pct of the time they be back friends… eventually ..and then u look silly… in the end… so I love minding my business. If a photo can create such vitriol, one has to ask himself some questions. Happy Monday”

Meek Mill and Wale’s rift dates back to 2015 when Meek publicly criticized Wale for not promoting his album. However, Meek has indicated that they’ve since reconciled their differences. Here’s hoping that they can continue to mend fences and move forward positively.

Meek Mill and Wale have collaborated on several songs together over the years. Some notable collaborations between Meek Mill and Wale include “Ambition,” “Heaven’s Afternoon,” “Make It Work” and “Fitted Cap” with Rick Ross.
