Cardi B’s boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs, is facing serious accusations from his ex-girlfriend, Basketball Wives Orlando alum Mulan Hernandez. The reality TV star filed a lawsuit earlier this year claiming that Diggs assaulted her and later tried to keep her quiet about it. Court records reviewed by Page Six reveal that Hernandez’s filing came in April as a countersuit to one Diggs had filed in February, where he accused her of assault and extortion.
In her version of events, Hernandez said the incident occurred on June 7, 2024, during their brief relationship. She alleged that Diggs attacked her from behind and punched the back of her head, leaving her with a concussion. According to the filing, the football player then attempted to persuade her to sign a non-disclosure agreement so his actions wouldn’t reach the public or the NFL. “He mounted an effort to induce [her] into signing a non-disclosure agreement so that [his] malicious and egregious act would be kept from the NFL and from public view,” she claimed. Hernandez said Diggs became frantic and even sent his assistant to Houston to pressure her into signing.
Hernandez is asking for at least $250,000 in damages, citing physical injuries, emotional distress, and medical expenses. Diggs has not publicly responded to the allegations.
In his own lawsuit, Diggs accused Hernandez and another woman, Brianna Mack, of damaging his property, assaulting him, and attempting to extort him after a night of partying. He alleged that Hernandez became violent, destroyed his belongings, and threatened him before filing her own claims.
The wide receiver’s legal issues don’t end there. He’s also been hit with a paternity suit from a woman named Aileen Lopera, who says he fathered her child born in April. Meanwhile, Diggs and Cardi B are reportedly expecting a baby together as she continues her divorce from Offset.
