The domestic battery charges against former Disney star, Skai Jackson have been offically dropped. According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County DA’s office, dismissed the case because of insufficient evidence. Along with Jackson not having a prior criminal record, her boyfriend (and the alleged victim) refused to cooperate with law enforcement. That said, there had been video evidence of the incident, but both parties deny anything occured.

On Wenesday (August 14), during a trip to Universal Studios, Skai Jackson and her boyfriend began fighting. She was later arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. It was also revealed that Jackson was, in fact, pregnant. It’s unclear what next for the pair, but hopefully with a new baby on board, things will work out between them. Following her being released, Jackson hopped on Instagram Live. However, it wasn’t to discuss her recent ordeal, but a new movie role. Fans on the other hand, thought it was interesting she was avoiding questions about her recent arrest.

Skai Jackson Recalls Fond Memories On ‘Jessie’

In other news, Jackson recently chatted with E! News about Jessie and her former castmates. Jackson noted while the cast isn’t as close these days, they still check in. “I feel like we’re all living different types of lives,” she told the outlet. “A lot of us don’t even live in the same state so it’s hard to see each other. But they’re doing so many amazing, great things that I’m really proud of them. We definitely check up on each other.”

The 22-year-old even hinted that she would be interested in a reunion down the road. “…A little hour special check-in… That would always be fun, but maybe like five years from now.” Jackson says she has fond memories, of the cast and being on set: “For me, I had a great experience…I got to learn a lot being in the industry at a young age, being able to have opportunities I feel like probably the average kid wouldn’t be able to. My mom, she’s always kept me humble.”
