Saweetie made a major surprise entrance at Dorothy Wang’s dream-wedding celebration in Italy. The “Icy” rapper flew into Florence to perform at Dorothy’s reception with Brandon Yankowitz, held at the luxe Collegio alla Querce venue.
Wang personally arranged Saweetie’s appearance, booking and flying her in just for that performance. The set reportedly included about ten songs, even though Saweetie has yet to drop a full-length album. Among the high-profile guests on the dance floor were Lilly Ghalichi from “Shahs of Sunset” and Sai De Silva from “RHONY”, all vibing to the performance.
The wedding weekend spanned multiple days, including VIP Gucci tours, pasta-making classes, and a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, reflecting Wang’s Chinese heritage and the couple’s theme of family-style celebration. The after-party featured late-night snacks like burgers, fries and “matcha-gatos”—because even luxury weddings have hunger moments.
All told, the event combined high fashion (custom couture gowns and bespoke looks), Italian elegance and a hip-hop twist thanks to Saweetie’s set. Wang summed it up simply: “Everyone just had so much fun.”
