Rick Ross has renewed his long-running feud with Drake, zeroing in on the Toronto rapper’s latest installment of his Iceman series.

The Miami mogul mocked Episode 3 by renaming it “White Man,” turning its ambitious rollout into another point of contention. “Damn Champagne Papi, they say them songs you just streamed off your new project ‘White Man’—they say that s### ain’t dope. The comments crazy,” Ross declared, gleefully amplifying criticism already brewing online.

Adding fuel to the fire was Twitch star Kai Cenat, whose influence has made him one of streaming’s sharpest cultural commentators. During his marathon Mafiathon 3 broadcast, Cenat watched the 90-minute episode live and wasted no time trashing it.

“That s### was ass,” he said, shaking his head in frustration. At one point, he labeled the project “the biggest waste of my f###### time,” before stressing, “I can’t fake it.” Ross quickly seized on Cenat’s blunt critique, praising the streamer for “keeping it real.”

Premiering September 4, Iceman Episode 3 attempted to push Drake’s music-video series into more cinematic territory. Filmed in Milan, the project paired new music with surreal visuals. Tracks featuring Yeat, Cash Cobain, and Julia Wolf punctuated the episode, while PARTYNEXTDOOR appeared on “Somebody Who Loves Me Pt. 2,” a song steeped in betrayal and loyalty.

Drake also used the platform to hint at his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar. On “That’s Just How I Feel,” he rapped, “And I really did f### up the summer, not the way I f##### up last summer,” a line many fans interpreted as acknowledgment of Lamar’s dominance in their recent battle.

Visually, the production leaned on allegory. From opening with the Italian ballad “Parole Parole” to scenes of Drake pursued by masked Pinocchio figures, the imagery seemed to confront themes of dishonesty and disillusionment in the industry. The finale ended somberly, with Drake paying tribute to fashion legend Giorgio Armani, who died that day.

But the grand vision hasn’t shielded him from backlash. With Ross mocking from the sidelines and Cenat tearing it down live, Iceman Episode 3 has quickly shifted from artistic experiment to cultural lightning rod. For Drake, it underscores both the risks and vulnerabilities of testing boundaries in full public view.
