Quavo responded to Chris Brown’s diss verse with a new song called “Tender.”
The R&B singer and the rap star are feuding over Quavo’s past relationship with Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend. On Thursday (April 11), Quavo released the response with cover art on social media and captioned it, “For the Pz that ain’t Tender.”
With references to Brown’s history of domestic violence, Quavo appears to address the root of the issue. He raps:
“You did the b***h wrong and now the b***h gone / She posted with a thug / Call the b***h phone, she won’t come home / Don’t beat her up / It must be the drugs / Need to cross out your plug, yeah-yeah.”
Chris Brown’s deluxe edition of “11:11” album includes a new shot at Quavo regarding the women they’ve both been with. On “Freak,” Brown fires at Quavo with “F****** my old bitches ain’t gone make us equal/Sipping that 1942 cause I don’t do no Cuervo [Quavo] / Freak bitch she like Casamigos. not the Migos.”
The beef seems to be only verbal, as they were seen seated next to each other at a fashion show overseas in January. Quavo responded to a fan’s social media post comparing the two stars that month.
