Offset is setting the record straight about long-standing rumors claiming he was romantically involved with Saweetie.
During a recent appearance on the Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast, the rapper shut down the speculation. When asked directly about the alleged fling, Offset replied, “No, man. It was a rumor, man,” making it clear there was never anything between him and the “My Type” rapper.
He also addressed chatter that the supposed situation played a role in tensions within Migos, particularly between him and Quavo. Offset dismissed that narrative too, explaining that the group’s issues ran much deeper than what fans saw online.
“It was a distraction,” he said, emphasizing that the rumor had nothing to do with their personal or professional differences.
The gossip first surfaced years ago and was recently reignited after 6ix9ine brought up the topic in a social media post, claiming the alleged affair contributed to the group’s split.
The speculation also made headlines back in 2023 when Cardi B — Offset’s wife at the time — briefly addressed it, telling fans she chose not to entertain false stories and preferred to focus on the truth within her household.
