Michelle Obama is repping her man, Barack Obama.
The internet lit up this week after a viral clip from Barack Obama’s recent campaign stops showed the former president handling a playful moment with his normal charm. During the rally in New Jersey, a woman in the crowd shouted a flirtatious comment his way. Obama laughed and replied smoothly, “You look cute, but I’m married. Michelle’s fine too.”
The lighthearted exchange quickly made its way across social media, drawing millions of views and sparking affectionate reactions from fans who praised Obama’s humor and grace.
Michelle didn’t miss the moment, either. During a recent talk-show appearance, she was shown the clip and couldn’t help but beam as she responded with warmth and pride.
“That’s the other part of being in your 60s, when your kids are launched and it’s just us,” she said. “We look back at each other and go, ‘I love you, I remember you…’”
“That is my man,” she said with a smile. “He’s a cutie too… He gets more handsome with age. The greying is good. I think my husband is gorgeous, and he gets better with age, too.”
