Megan Thee Stallion responds after her ex-boyfriend, Pardi, says he didn’t cheat on her.
During a recent interview, Pardi explains that he didn’t physically cheat on Megan Thee Stallion- however, he was caught texting other women.
He says the reason the relationship ended due to a “laundry list” of reasons. “Listen, I’m a person that believes love doesn’t go away. It changes. And that’s another thing I’ve stated. I’ll always want well for her. I’m not a person that wants bad for her. I’m not out here calling her all types of such and such. I’ve never even discussed some of the things on that song with my closet friends. When the song came out, people was like, ‘Yo, that? This happened?’ I never ever once would talk bad about her to anyone. I do wish her the best.”
While on Instagram live, Megan responds to Pardi’s claims. She expresses, “If you didn’t cheat on me.. then why are you responding? You just want a reason to bash me..” She goes on to say she’s in a good space and just trying to heal.
In a previously released song, Pardi called Megan Thee Stallion out on a variety of different topics. He accuses her of lying, cheating, and embarrassing him.
He raps, “this the girl that I’m trying to propose to/Ask Greg Una I picked out a ring then you lied to my face/Went on TV and then lied to Gayle King/,” Pardi raps. “I found out with the rest of the world/God I treated you like a queen/Whole time I’m a clown in your circus/I tried to pull you up out the mud/Here you are tryna drown me on purpose/You know the devil was a serpent/For some streams and views girl I hope it was worth it/This ain’t for Megan Thee Stallion, this for Megan Thee Person.”
He continued, “the way that you painting this picture’s a shame/How many times did I catch you texting them n***as? You did you first I just did me bigger/You flew out the country ain’t called for days in my mind we had parted ways/You was back moving awful stranger in an effort to fix it I took all the blame like I always do/Apologize for shit that I know I ain’t do.”
