Lil Wayne believes people hate on Drake because he is light-skinned.
During a recent appearance on the latest episode of “The Richard Sherman Podcast,” Weezy spoke about signing Nicki Minaj and the Toronto rapper. “I get that from my upbringing, from being around Birdman,” he said.
The New Orleans rapper than went on to speak about Drake’s haters. “He red, he light-skinned,” he began. “That’s just American history. How I know is, because I’m not light-skinned. I hated on all light-skinned dudes in school. So yeah, it’s American history, man.” Check out the full interview below.
