Karrueche Tran continues to show up for Deion Sanders as he recovers from yet another surgery. The actress was recently seen by his side while the Colorado Buffaloes coach underwent a procedure to remove blood clots from his left leg. This marks Sanders’ sixteenth surgery in just three years, but this time, he wasn’t alone.
Sanders, 58, revealed earlier in the week that he believed he was “dealing with blood clots again.” He described the pain as “hurting like crazy” and explained that he wasn’t “getting blood” to his legs, causing them to “throb.” Despite the discomfort, Sanders insisted that he planned to return to practice as soon as possible. “Preferably, I’ll be right back tomorrow because I don’t miss practice,” he said during a press conference. The surgery, an aspiration thrombectomy, was performed to clear the popliteal and tibial arteries in his left leg — the same leg where he previously had two toes amputated and part of his calf removed.
Photos shared on Sanders’ Instagram showed him smiling from his hospital bed alongside his son, Deion Jr., and former NFL star Adam “Pacman” Jones. Viewers also spotted Tran nearby, quietly offering support throughout the recovery process. In a YouTube video from Well Off Media, Sanders mentioned that this was his sixteenth operation in just three years, yet he appeared upbeat as Tran stayed close.
The pair first sparked dating rumors back in July when Karrueche was seen with him during a separate surgery related to his cancer treatment. Though neither has confirmed their relationship, her consistent presence has kept fans talking. When asked about her personal life recently, Karrueche said she’s “enjoying” dating — and it seems she’s also developed a growing appreciation for football.
