Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Vultures 2’ Set To Soar With Posthumous Takeoff Feature

The sequel to Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Vultures” is reported to feature the late Migos rapper.

Variety reports that the forthcoming project, initially slated for release on March 8, has been given a new drop date: May 3.

On the album, a pre-existing single titled “Let Me Chill Out,” featuring Rich the Kid, NBA Youngboy, and the late Takeoff, who was shot and killed in 2022.

Ye first shared news of the Vultures 2 updated release date during a recent segment on Justin LaBoy’s The Download podcast. On the flip side, Ty Dolla $ign previously teased the album on Instagram with a photo showing him holding what appears to be the album’s cover. The cover features a picture of his brother, Jabreal “Big TC” Muhammad, who is serving a life sentence in prison for a murder he claims he did not commit.

“VULTURES 2” he penned in the simple caption.

We previously covered that the second and third installments of the three-part series were initially scheduled for release on March 8 and April 5. In excitement, Kanye West released a trailer directed by Jon Rafman to accompany the album announcement.

Despite experiencing several delays due to clearance issues, the project — including guest appearances by Lil Durk, Kodak Black, Freddie Gibbs, and Kanye West’s daughter North West — soared to acclaim, clinching the top spot on the Billboard 200. It amassed 148,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during its opening week (Feb. 9-15, following its Feb. 10 release), according to Luminate.

Early March, Ye and his wife, Bianca Censori — spotted rocking a barely-there black bodysuit and thigh-high garter boots with her figure on full display (cakes included) — were present in Los Angeles for one of many listening parties surrounding Ye and Ty’s highly anticipated “Vultures 2” album.

Addressing the album delay at that time, Kanye remarked, “We in the Lab.”
