Ice Spice declared that her debut album, Y2K, is ready to drop in a recent post on X. “i finished recording y2k the album,” she wrote.
This follows her debut EP, Like..?, which featured hits like “Deli” and “Munch.” She recently released her first single off the project titled “Think U the Shit (Fart)” in January. Following its release, rumors swirled that she took a shot a Latto, rapping “I got my foot on they necks, I can’t let up (Grrah)/She all on the floor, told her get up (Get up).”
She continued: She my son, but I ain’t her mammy (I ain’t her mammy)/B*tches can’t stand me (B*tches can’t stand me).” Last year, Latto released her hit track, “Put It On Da Floor,” so it wouldn’t be a reach for fans to assume she was taking shots at the Atlanta rapper.
More importantly, her alleged beef with Latto appears to have been reignited by the track. Latto seemingly offered her own response on her new song, “Sunday Service.”
There has been no announcement of a release date for Ice Spice’s album, and no tracklist has been released either.
