Halle Bailey has decided to unveil her second solo single, ‘In My Hands.’ The song (and video) transports us to a hauntingly beautiful, almost dystopian universe. The track is not just a song, it’s a heartfelt tribute inspired by the birth of her first child, Halo, which she shares with rapper DDG.
“All in your hands, in your hands/ The world is yours when I’m in it/ In your hands, in your hands/ You can’t let go or you’ll lose your chance,” she sings. The video concludes with Halle sweetly cradling her baby boy, softly serenading him as the screen turns black.
The Little Mermaid actress gave birth to her son on Jan. 6. Rumors swirled for months before the singer officially announced that she was, in fact, pregnant.
Halle recently revealed that she decided to conceal her pregnancy to have a “beautiful, private, healthy time” in her journey.
