Donald Trump goes down in history as the former president with the MOST legal issues. Now, his real estate is in jeopardy.

In the latest saga, a judge ruled on Tuesday (September 26) that Donald Trump committed fraud for years while he built his Trump Tower/real estate empire that ultimately got him into the White House.

Judge Arthur Engoron ruled in a NY courtroom that 45 and his company “deceived banks, insurers and others by massively overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing loans,” according to the report

As punishment, the judge ordered that Trump’s licenses be rescinded, which will make it difficult or impossible for them to do business in New York, and said he would continue to have an independent monitor oversee Trump Organization operations, the article points out.

Trump called it “un-American” and a “plot” to disrupt his campaign to get back into the White House. On his Truth social site, he said:

“My Civil rights have been violated, and some Appellate Court, whether federal or state, must reverse this horrible, un-American decision.” In addition, he insisted his company had “done a magnificent job for New York State” and “done business perfectly,” calling it “A very sad Day for the New York State System of Justice,” AP reports.

Trump’s lawyer plans to fight back with an appeal. Trump is the only former president that ever existed that has ever faced criminal charges.

On August 14 Trump, along with 18 other individuals were indicted on state charges stemming from their alleged efforts to overturn the former president’s 2020 electoral defeat.

In over four and a half months, Trump racked up four criminal cases. In New York, the former President faces 34 felony counts over allegations that he falsified business records to conceal hush-money payments to a porn star.

In Florida, he’s facing 40 felony counts for allegedly hoarding classified documents and obstructing the government’s efforts to retrieve them, and four counts in Washington related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
