Erykah Badu seemingly calls Beyoncé out for copying her style.
Beyoncé shared new pictures via Instagram yesterday, ahead of her forthcoming album “Act ii: COWBOY CARTER.” In the photo, Bey is wearing long braids, with a braided bang and beads at the end. This is a hairstyle that we have seen on Erykah Badu as well.
Badu shared the picture via her Instagram story and captioned it, “Hmmm.” She then shared via Twitter, “to Jay Z . Say somethin Jay,” she wrote on Wednesday. “You gone let this woman and these bees do this to me ??.”
This isn’t the first time Badu has seemingly called out Bey for having a similar style. Badu previously noted that she and Bey were wearing a similar hat. She wrote, “I guess I’m everybody stylist,” Badu wrote on Instagram at the time.
Beyoncé has yet to respond to Badu, however, her longtime publicist seemingly reacts. She shares a collage of photos of Bey rocking braids and beads. She captions the picture, “She slays. She slays. Now. Then. Always.”
