Reports say Drake is thrilled to return to Australia for the first time in eight years, just ahead of his highly anticipated Anita Max Win Tour.
His upcoming visit is set to reignite his bond with his Australian fanbase, who have eagerly awaited his return. In a recent Drizzmas Giveaway broadcast alongside streamer Adin Ross, the 6 God shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, reflecting on his deep connection to the country. He then delighted fans with lavish surprises, handing out two all-inclusive trips to witness his performance live in Australia.
Drake voiced on stream, “It’s Australia—it’s a beautiful place. I hope everybody gets a chance to see it. It is stunning, the people are incredible. I remember one of my first experiences having a white wine at Bondi Beach, and I was just like, wow. It reminded me how big the world is.” “Australia is one of the most incredible places on planet Earth. I’m so excited to be forward after eight years. I have a very, very special show for you.” Toward the end of the broadcast, Drizzy treated fans to a brief demonstration of his Australian accent, remarking, “I can’t wait to see all my Australias. I’m keen, mate, easy as. I can’t wait to touch down, mate.”
Additionally, Drake surprised his fans with gifts ranging from a G Wagon, three family cars, and a substantial $250,000 to help a fan overwhelmed by debt, while also covering a year’s rent for two others.
Drake’s Anita Max Win Tour Expands to 13 Dates, Starting in Perth
The Anita Max Win Tour will launch on February 4, 2025, at Perth’s RAC Arena, traveling through top cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane before concluding in Auckland on March 1. Initially set to feature seven performances, the tour has since grown to 13 dates, driven by an outpouring of fan interest.
The tour takes its name from a viral livestream in December 2023, where Drake introduced his alter ego, Anita Max Win—an amusing reference to betting terminology. A lot has changed since his last Australian tour in 2017, with the release of blockbuster albums such as Scorpion (2018), Certified Lover Boy (2021), Her Loss (2022), and For All The Dogs (2023).
