Beyoncé and Jay Z spent part of their weekend soaking up the excitement at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, and they made time for a special moment with Lewis Hamilton before the race took over the city. A couple of days later, on Tuesday, November 25th, Beyoncé posted a collection of photos showing her and Jay Z chatting with Hamilton right on the track. The racing champion also invited her into a Ferrari for a fast lap around the circuit, and the pictures captured them laughing and enjoying the ride. Beyoncé chose a bold, racing-inspired jumpsuit for the outing and looked completely at home in the high-energy atmosphere.

She followed up the photos with a message for Hamilton, writing, “Love and gratitude to the best to ever do it! Lewis Hamilton #44!” Hamilton went on to secure eighth place in the Las Vegas event while Max Verstappen finished in first. George Russell and Kimi Antonelli took the next two spots for Mercedes.

Beyoncé also shared videos from her time in Las Vegas. One clip showed her walking through the city in full superstar mode, while another featured Hamilton driving her on the track. She captioned that moment, “Give it to Mama!” The posts made it clear she enjoyed every second of her race weekend experience.

The couple were far from the only celebrities at the Grand Prix. Large crowds of well known names continue to show up at Formula 1 events and Las Vegas was no exception. Travis Scott, Magic Johnson, Cynthia Erivo, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones, Gordon Ramsay, Ciara, Brooks Nader and Ben Affleck were also in attendance. Their presence reflects the momentum Formula 1 has gained in entertainment and culture.

From Austin to Las Vegas, the sport continues to draw more attention. As Alex Albon of Williams Racing said to Billboard, “The whole thing is a show. It is entertainment.”
