B.o.B (real name Bobby Ray Simmons Jr.) is facing civil allegations of sexual assault and false imprisonment following a concert in San Diego.

He shuts down these allegations.

The incident allegedly happened in a downtown San Diego hotel suite after B.o.B’s April 2025 performance associated with the Tequila & Taco/California Beer Festival. She alleges she was invited to an after-party by the artist’s team and was later assaulted when left briefly alone with him.

The filing claims B.o.B’s wife briefly entered the room during the encounter and was told to leave; the woman says she escaped when a manager knocked on the door.

In a statement to shared to The Shade Room, the rapper’s attorney Leron E. Rogers said: “Our client… categorically denies the false allegations… This filing appears to be a calculated attempt to leverage publicity and extract a financial settlement… a baseless ‘money grab’… Out of respect for the individuals involved and for the integrity of the legal process, we will have no further comment at this time.”
