50 Cent was recently asked his opinion on the state of female rap in an interview, and according to him, many of them are “trying to sell box.” In other words, he believes the female rap acts today only focus on their sexuality. “I just want someone to break that’s not selling box,” he jokingly laughs.
“Just one…I think this might be damaging to female culture.” While Fif admits that his music contains sexual innuendos, he feels that female rappers are more overt — which can damage how women are viewed in society. That said, 50 Cent said he thinks the music is “fun,” but it lacks substance overall.
50 Cent Discusses Recent Allegations Against Jay-Z
In a recent interview with 50 Cent, Lindsay Davis from ABC News discussed why the rapper finds the recent accusations “interesting.” He stated, “That was interesting.” “I was saying things not knowing exactly what I was saying. I was going like, ‘Where’s Jay at? He’s mad quiet’ while the Puffy thing was going on. But it’s obvious now that his team was being made aware that he was in those allegations also. I hope it works out because with the family, the things that go on internally. Those accusations are crazy.”
As the conversation continued, 50 then delved into the multiple lawsuits against Diddy, who’s currently behind bars preparing for his sex trafficking and racketeering trial in May 2025. He said he was “as surprised as everyone else” hearing these claims but had a feeling that the mogul partook in these doings prior to the case filings.
