Fat Joe is at the center of serious allegations from his former hypeman, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon, who has filed a lawsuit accusing the Bronx rapper of misconduct ranging from labor exploitation to sexual abuse. Among the more sensational claims in the suit is that Joe once conspired to have 50 Cent killed during their early-2000s feud. The filing alleges, “[Fat Joe] engaged in a calculated and premeditated conspiracy to murder rapper Curtis Jackson. But 50 Cent was surrounded by ‘Navy Seal’ type security, and the would-be assassins were afraid to make the attempt.”
50 Cent quickly responded to the claim via Instagram, brushing it off as ridiculous. “These baseless, accusations and claims are not credible. I’m sorry joe has to endure the public scrutiny and damage to his reputation,” he wrote, adding a jab: “THIS A STICK UP! I wrote this hook I should a kept this one.” Fat Joe responded to the post with a “100” emoji, seemingly thankful for the public support.
Beyond the murder plot allegation, Dixon’s lawsuit includes disturbing claims that Fat Joe had sexual encounters with underage girls. Dixon says he personally witnessed Joe having sex with girls aged 15 and 16, and alleges that Joe even paid for one minor to undergo a Brazilian Butt Lift, stating, “Minor Doe 2 eventually left Defendant and is now married to a professional athlete.”
In response, Joe has enlisted high-profile attorney Joe Tacopina — known for representing A$AP Rocky — who denounced the lawsuit as a “blatant act of retaliation.” Tacopina added, “The allegations against Mr. Cartagena are complete fabrications — lies intended to damage his reputation and force a settlement through public pressure… Mr. Cartagena will not be intimidated.”
