There was a lot of new music that surfaced throughout the week as we prepare for anticipated new releases by some of the biggest names in hip-hop this Friday.

From Saweetie and P-Lo championing the Bay Area while the 49ers head to the Super Bowl to Russ making his return to Hip Hop in 2024 to Jim Jones hitting the streets again like it’s 2008, here’s a recap of new music you might have missed throughout the week.

Russ “Drives” Into 2024 Anew

Russ is back. He previews where he is headed after last year’s Santiago with a self-produced track that features a guitar and sing-a-long melody about the story of a woman heading into the unknown. Perfect for traffic jams and cross-country adventures.
