The Princess of R&B is on vacation on a tropical island; the exact location is unknown. In a viral video, Ashanti showed off her beautiful curves and smiled while in the water.

In other Ashanti news, she’s ready to start a family. As reported on The Jasmine Brand, she said she’s working hard now so she can slow down. Ashanti said,
“I’m hustling and doing what I need to do now, so I can chill a little bit.” She’s looking forward to building a family, but with the “right” person. She went on to say,
“Trust me, there’s a lot of guys that want to be my baby daddy — and they’ve tried.” The “Good Good” singer shared the type of mother she aspires to be. Ashanti said,
“If I have an ounce of my mom’s skills, I’m superior, honestly, because my mom is the sh*t.” She continued, “My dad is cool too, and my sister. But my mom’s a different breed. They don’t make human beings like my mom.”
Throughout Ashanti’s career, she’s seemingly kept her dating life private. She dated the rapper Nelly on and off for 11 years in the early 2000’s. The pair went viral last year after performing their song “Body on Me.” Fans felt the chemistry was still there and wondered if she would get back with the country grammar artist. During a different interview, Ashanti addressed it and said we’ll see what happens.
Overall, Ashanti had an exciting 2022. She was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She also celebrated the 20th anniversary of her self-titled debut album. In addition, she released a children’s book called My Name Is My Story.
