Is Ne-Yo admitting to infidelity?
For the first time, the “So Sick” singer revealed the child he fathered outside of his marriage with Crystal Smith. Ne-Yo showed off all his children via IG Story and wrote, “I am BLESSED.” In another story post, he said, “Thank you GOD for my beautiful children and the people that help me raise them. I love you all.”

NeYo has two children with ex-fiancé Monyetta Shaw and three with estranged wife Crystal Smith. Crystal filed for divorce last year, and they reconciled but shortly after, she accused Ne-Yo of having a baby with another woman, a social media influencer named Sade, while they were still married. Sade is currently pregnant, but it’s unclear whether it’s Ne-Yo’s child.
Ne-Yo says his marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.” He’s fighting for joint custody and doesn’t want to pay alimony. Crystal says since she separated from Ne-Yo, she’s been taking care of their children and is looking to gain primary physical custody, and joint legal custody.
Last summer, Ne-Yo responded online to the cheating allegations. He said, “For the sake of our children, my family and I will work through our challenges behind closed doors. Personal matters are not meant to be addressed and dissected in public forums” he said. “I simply ask that you please respect me and my family’s privacy at this time.”
Crystal and Ne-Yo got married in 2016. During an interview, Ne-Yo credited the pandemic for helping his marriage with Crystal; they even had a “second wedding.”
Hopefully, they can work things out peacefully and continue to co-parent.
