For the past couple of weeks, Terry Crews has been facing some heat over his comments about Gabrielle Union’s exit from America’s Got Talent.
It was reported that Union was released from the show over claims of being in a sexist and racist atmosphere. Crews began to receive heavy backlash for his comments that he made on the Today show as well on Twitter.
On Friday, (January 31st, 2020), Crews took to his Twitter account to issue an apology to Gabrielle Union. See the thread below.
I told @KevinHart4real a while ago, he needed 2 “acknowledge the pain of other people.” Right now I have to do the same thing. I want to apologize for the comments I made. I realize there are a lot of Black women hurt and let down by what I said and also by what I didn’t say.

Gabrielle Union has yet to respond to the apology.
