Kanye West held a campaign rally last night in Charleston, South Carolina. Following the event, videos began to surface online and many people grew concern at some of the things Ye’ was saying.
According to reports, friends and family close to Kanye are allegedly concerned for his well-being following yesterdays event. A source shares with TMZ, “those around him believe Kanye is in desperate need of professional help and is in the middle of a serious bipolar episode, but he won’t listen to them.” Kanye revealed he’d been diagnosed as bipolar on his 2018 album Ye.
During the rally, Kanye mentioned to that crowd that he believes, “Harriet Tubman…never actually freed the slaves, she just had the slaves go work for other white people.” Which led to him trending on Twitter. Reportedly, his family believes quotes like that can ultimately “financially tank some of his businesses.”
