Not everyone was feeling Lil Nas X’s Halloween costume.
Lil Nas X dressed as Nicki Minaj and recreated her “Super Base” look. Social media had mixed reactions, and Harlem rapper Dave East commented on it. In an Instagram Story, Dave said, “And y’all was mad at me about this n***a.”
Lil Nas X responded on Twitter and told Dave East to stop worrying about him.
“It’s ‘batty man’ n****s can’t even be homophobic the proper way smh butchering the hell out of the patois. Bro I don’t bother a soul in this industry. All I do is tweet and make bangers. Leave me alone Damn.”
