President Donald Trump’s comments against Stephen Curry, Colin Kaepernick, and players that protest the national anthem before football games has everyone talking.

Today (Sept 25), Michael Jordan has decided to speak out against Trump’s comments, and give his point of view onto what’s going on in the country.

The owner of the Charlotte Hornets gave his comments to the Charlotte Observer

“One of the fundamental rights this country is founded on was freedom of speech, and we have a long tradition of nonviolent, peaceful protest,” he said. “Those who exercise the right to peacefully express themselves should not be demonized or ostracized. At a time of increasing divisiveness and hate in this country, we should be looking for ways to work together and support each other and not create more division.”

Jordan has been quiet on addressing social issues in the past.

Longtime sports journalist Bob Costas also addressed the issue on CNN’s New Day this morning.
