The Game is speaking out about the tragic death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas as investigators continue to search for answers months after her body was discovered. During a recent appearance on The Cruz Show, the rapper reacted strongly to details that initially circulated about the case, particularly the false reports claiming Rivas had been decapitated when she was found in a Tesla registered to singer D4vd back in September.

“The thing I read that disturbed me,” he said, according to Complex. With the victim being the same age as his own daughter, he shared an emotional response. “My daughter is 15. The girl was 15. The decapitation. Let me be the voice for all real fathers who love their daughters. If I was the father of that girl you decapitated, I’m decapitating who did it before I leave the earth. That type of sh*t ain’t cool man. That’s not going to fix it, but it’s going to bring something back. I don’t like that man. One thing I hate more than anything is men violating women or children.”

While those disturbing claims spread widely online, law enforcement has since shut them down. Los Angeles Police Captain Scot Williams confirmed to People that the condition of the body had been misrepresented. “Celeste’s body was not frozen. She was not decapitated. The whole frozen thing doesn’t even make sense. Her body was in the car for weeks,” he explained. He added that “Even if she had been frozen solid when she was put in the car… five or more weeks in the trunk of a car in sweltering heat… would not have resulted in a partially frozen body being discovered on September 8th.”

No arrests have been made, but authorities have acknowledged that D4vd is being reviewed as a possible suspect. He has not been charged, and investigators say he was on tour when Rivas’ body was found. The L.A. County Medical Examiner recently confirmed that a security hold remains on the case as the investigation continues.
