Rick Ross is once again at the center of social media chatter, this time responding to claims that he has been sliding into women’s DMs.
On November 30, the Florida rap star shared a post that instantly went viral, writing, “This ho going to [cap] heaven,” alongside laughing and bird emojis, with his track “Here I Am” playing in the background. Ross’s response blends humor, bravado, and his signature swagger, appearing to address a wave of screenshots showing flirtatious messages allegedly sent to two women.
The situation began when Instagram user @nardosedaily posted a screenshot of a message allegedly from Ross reading, “You are mine.” She captioned it with a mix of jest and critique:
“I got so many DMs from so many of your favs but I’m sharing this cause I know he would get the joke. But in all seriousness, attention doesn’t equal currency. They don’t want you. Women always come up to me and be like guess who is in my DMs like they’re so flattered like okay. I don’t even follow them, they follow me.”
Is Rick Ross Sliding In DMs?
Her post made clear she viewed the attention as performative rather than meaningful.
Shortly after, another Instagram user, @Missbri.nicole, posted screenshots of a text conversation with a contact saved as “The Biggest,” allegedly Ross. The exchange included lines such as, “My baby a stallion,” “Pretty ass,” and “5’10” all mine.” She replied, “Absolutely without a doubt,” adding, “I want the friendship forever tho… We can fall in love later.”
Her caption jokingly addressed the rapper, writing, “She’s not a liar. This why he couldn’t get no [cat emoji] outta me, idc how much money you got.”
Ross’ viral response — “This ho going to cap heaven” — signals he believes the claims are exaggerated. The term “cap” implies lying, suggesting he sees the posts as embellished. By pairing the line with his music and emojis, he frames the story on his own terms, leaning into humor rather than issuing a formal denial.
The back-and-forth highlights how quickly celebrity interactions can become public spectacle. For Rick Ross, humor and bravado remain his tools to navigate controversy while keeping his persona firmly intact.
