Offset’s 2025 campaign has been fueled by both triumph and turbulence, with his artistry and personal life with soon-to-be ex-wife Cardi B unfolding in parallel.

The rapper’s latest solo album, Kiari, cracked the Billboard top 20 and drew praise for its mix of reflection and swagger, cementing his ability to thrive beyond Migos. That momentum has carried him onto the MASA Tour, where he shares the stage with NBA YoungBoy, performing to packed crowds nationwide.

The grind hasn’t slowed. Fresh off a performance in New York City with JID, Offset delivered their collaborative single “Bodies,” which flips a sample from Drowning Pool’s early 2000s anthem. The rock band even appeared alongside the pair, creating an unexpected crossover moment that spoke to Offset’s appetite for bold, genre-bending performances. With EBK Jaaybo sidelined by legal troubles, Offset has taken on a larger role in leading the tour, further proving his stamina.

But while his career flourishes, Offset’s personal life remains under scrutiny. His split from Cardi B has dominated headlines, with the couple’s divorce playing out in real time before fans. At LAX, he made it clear he wasn’t interested in prolonging the drama.

“I just want peace,” he tells TMZ Hip Hop, noting his hopes for both of them to succeed.

That sentiment will be tested later this month, when Cardi finally drops her long-awaited album on September 19, just weeks after Kiari’s release. Rather than frame their albums as competition, Offset insists there’s room for both to win. He even reminded listeners that he once urged Cardi to release her project, even as their marriage unraveled.

The dynamic between the two remains one of hip-hop’s most compelling storylines, with their artistry and personal struggles colliding in the public eye. As Offset pushes forward with music and touring, and Cardi prepares for her long-delayed rollout, their futures appear intertwined even in separation.

For now, Offset’s determination suggests that while his marriage may be ending, his solo journey is only beginning to take full shape.
