Travis Scott and Ken Griffey Jr. have teased an upcoming collaboration with Nike’s baseball and softball division, marked by the release of a new trailer. While specifics of the collaboration remain under wraps, the campaign has officially kicked off. On Thursday (July 11th), Travis Scott starred alongside Seattle Mariners legend Griffey Jr. in a Nike Diamond commercial.

The video features Scott practicing his batting skills in an empty nighttime arena, with Griffey Jr. offering him advice: “Your form’s not bad, but the key is stepping up to the plate with the belief you can hit.”

In February, Travis Scott launched a line of baseball cleats in partnership with Jordan for his annual Cactus Jack HBCU Classic game. These cleats featured Scott’s signature color palette of white, brown, tan, and orange.

Around the same time, Scott expanded his business ventures by securing naming rights for a sports stadium in West Palm Beach, Florida, previously known as Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. The venue, used for MLB spring training by the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals, is now rebranded as CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches, following a deal with both teams.

Expressing his excitement about the collaboration, Scott stated, “With the official U.S. launch of Cacti coming up, I’m thrilled to partner with the Houston Astros and the Washington Nationals for Cacti Park of the Palm Beaches.”

Anheuser-Busch temporarily halted production of Scott’s Cacti Agave Spiked Seltzer in 2021 after the tragic incident at the Astroworld Festival, where 10 fans died and hundreds were injured during Scott’s performance. However, Scott hinted at the drink’s return the following year.
