There is no end in sight to the feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift.
Ye addressed the Swifties on Wednesday (Feb. 14) after a tweet went viral showing a Taylor Swift fan rallying fans to buy and stream Beyonce’s new country song, “Texas Hold’Em,” in order to keep Ye’s new single, “Carnival,” from reaching #1 on the Billboard charts because he dragged Taylor on Instagram. “SWIFTIE EMERGENCY [Three alarm emojis],” wrote X user @ souvlore. “Beyonce’s new single “Texas Hold’Em” is challenging Kanye West for #1 debut on Billboard Hot 100. Let’s BUY AND STREAM TEXAS HOLD’EM to block him from the top spot!!! Remember he just DRAGGED Taylor on his latest Instagram story.”
Kanye and Taylor have been at odds with one another since he interrupted her award acceptance speech, which also involved Beyonce, in 2009. The two megastars have publicly shown their disdain for one another since then. Both sides have benefited from the feud in terms of sales.
After discovering the tweet, Kanye shared that he helped Taylor’s career with the following response:

After speaking to Taylor Swift and the Swifties, Ye spoke on Shaq’s recent comments. At the end of his rant, Kanye told the NBA champ:
“OH AND TO SHAQ I GREW UP LOOKING UP TO YOU I WOULD LOVE TO HANG WITH YOU AND JAMIE SOMETIME JAIMIE SALTER IS LIKE A FATHER FIGURE TO ME

At press time, Swift has not responded to Kanye’s viral tweet. On Sunday, Feb. 11, she celebrated with boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs after the football team won their second consecutive NFL championship.
Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s new album, released last weekend, has reached #1 worldwide on various streaming platforms. Along with “Carnivale,” other breakout songs include “Back To Me” and “Talking.” The new album features Quavo, Travis Scott, Future, Freddie Gibbs, and North West.
