It looked to be a big night for Killer Mike at the 2024 Grammys, before it took an unexpected turn.

Minutes after taking the awards for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance, the Atlanta, Georgia was seen being taken away in handcuffs by authorities.

The Hollywood Reporter staff writer Chris Gardner captured video of the arrest.

According to TMZ, the 48-year-old rapper was booked for misdemeanor batter after an alleged altercation with a security officer in what is being deemed a citizens arrest at the time.
