Nicki Minaj turns down Kanye West’s request to clear her verse for his song “New Body.”
Kanye shared a screenshot of a text message he sent Minaj. In the screenshot it reads, “Hi it’s Ye. May I call you about cleaning New Body on the new album?”

Now while on Instagram live, Nicki responds to Ye’s request. She says, “chile, that train has left the station,” she said. “OK? No disrespect in any way.” She also notes that she just put out her own album, Pink Friday 2.
She continued, “why would I put out a song that has been out for three years? Come on, guys,” she told her followers.
Kanye has yet to respond to Nicki’s comments.
